Sipasi Olalekan Ayodele is one Dogged Nigerian entrepreneur who has re-defined agriculture and used it to provide answers to ozone layer depletion as well as combat poverty through the effective use of environmental waste and hazardous materials.
Born in September, he attended Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), and Ondo State where he studied Animal Production & Health and bagged a Masters’ degree from the University of Ibadan. After which he obtained a certificate in Business Administration from African Management Institute and Enterprise Development Center EDS of the Pan African University PAU, Lagos.
In 2015, he won the Hidden Eco-Hero awards after producing the Mobile Kitchen Garden MKG, where he tried to combat Ozone layer depletion re-using waste to produce vegetable. He has won other awards such as; Africa Youth award for Agriculture, the LIONS award as the most influential participant of Obama’s Young African leaders Initiative(YALI), where he currently serves as YALI’s West African Ambassador to Nigeria. He is the CEO of L’Afrika Integrated Farms, Fellow Thinking School Africa, Fellow LEAP Africa and Carrington Fellow of the US Consulate Lagos. He is the founder of ProtectOzone Sustainable Livelihood Initiative.
With over 20 years of experience, having trained over 5,000 youths on environmental responsibility, and his knowledge of about 5 languages, Sipasi Olalekan sets records on how Nigeria can use her resources effectively (Harnessing the Demographic Dividend). He is an example of determination and success.
