Applications for DAAD scholarship are now open


    The scholarships for DAAD are now open. The scholarship is for trainees who desire to pursue a Masters and Ph.D degree in any of the advancement fields. This German Academic Exchange Service supplies scholarship and a month-to-month stipend to international trainees for a variety of courses being used at German Universities. It is aimed to offer more education to the young specialists from developing nations. The courses being used are Masters or PhD courses in Economic Sciences/Business Administration/Political Economics; Advancement Cooperation; Engineering and Related Sciences; Mathematics; Regional and Urban Planning; Agricultural and Forest Sciences; Natural and Environmental Sciences; Medication and Public Health; Social Sciences, Education and Law; and Media Studies.     The scholarship is restricted in number so the sooner you use, the better your possibilities. The scholarships include monthly payments of 750 euros for graduates or 1,000 euros for doctoral candidates; payments to health, accident and individual liability insurance coverage cover; and travel allowance, unless these expenses are covered by the home nation or another source of funding. The scholarship duration is 12 to 24 months (depending upon the specific organization) and 36 months for PhD.You have to hold a Bachelor’s degree (of 4 years) in the related subject. The academic degrees have to be no more old than six years. Choice will be given to people who work for public authority or a state or personal company in establishing country, as such, is engaged in the planning and execution of instructions and projects with focus on development policies having a bearing on technological, financial or social areas. For study courses in German (scholarship consists of a 6-month German language course): DSH 2 or TestDaF 4 at the beginning of the study course; a minimum German language level of A2 at the time of application. In addition, German language efficiency at B1 level are extremely advised. For courses in English: IELTS (Band 6) certificate or TOEFL (minimum rating: 550 paper based, 213 computer system based, 80 web based). The application consumption closes in August-October 2018.
