This scholarship is offered to undergraduate and postgraduate trainees to take a full time routine courses used by Jamia Millia Islamia university from financially weak families.Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Scholarship is approved by Vice Chancellor from ‘Central Scholarship Fund’.
Female student will be given choice so at least 50% of the overall variety of Dr. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam Scholarship will be readily available for female trainees. The Scholarship will be offered for 75 students in the current academic year.Under this scheme gross fee by JMI will be reimbursed to the trainee subject to the maximum limitation of Rs. 10,000 per trainee per annum. This plan will not be offered for trainees of self-finance courses.The Scholarship for which application is to be made for specific year will be tenable from the concerned academic year.
