A capacity-building project targeted at empowering girls with the relevant skills, and knowledge about gender-based violence and their sexual and reproductive health and rights. We were able to train the girls throughout the year 2022 by engaging them weekly on issues pertaining to them and their bodies, building their overall well-being, and empowering them with vocational skills to enhance their sustainability.
In one of our adopted schools, however, we noticed a huge communication gap and we had to step in by bringing a communication expert to take them through weekly communication. There have been significant improvements based on the intervention.
