Christmas is a special time of the year that brings joy and happiness to many people around the world. It is also a time when communities come together to give back to one another and make a positive impact on the world. During the Christmas season this year, Rhealyz Africa embarked on a Christmas toy drive to primary schools within Ondo State in Nigeria to spread some holiday cheer through its kit-a-child project. This program provides school children with much-needed supplies like scholarships, writing materials textbooks, toys, etc.
RHEALYZ AFRICA KIT-A-CHILD CHRISTMAS OUTREACH TO ODA COMMUNITY
The Rhealyz Africa Team was first at St Williams Primary School, Oda which is one of the adopted schools of the organization. The children were happy to sight ‘Santa Claus’ also known as ‘Father Christmas’ as he was driven into the school compound. They surrounded the car and sang Christmas songs to welcome Santa to their school.
After the welcome, the team together with the children and some members of the staff went for a street walk to create awareness about the day and to invite other children to come to celebrate the day. The children walked happily, sang, and danced with joy so that they can celebrate the Christmas season.
After the walk, the children were arranged into different lines according to their classes to ensure orderliness and were allowed to dance with Santa to ensure the children enjoyed themselves and had fun celebrating Christmas. The Christmas toys and presents were given to the pupils. The kids were so happy receiving the presents from Santa. The children also rocked their sunglasses which looked cute on them.

The team then proceeded to Hope Orphanage Akure to also give the children the privilege of celebrating Christmas. The children received the team with so much joy after which their Christmas gifts were handed over to them. The smiles and joy on the faces of the children celebrating the Christmas season were fulfilling. The Rhealyz Africa team had a wonderful time celebrating with the children.
The Rhealyz Africa Christmas Outreach in Akure, Ondo State was an amazing success with a total reach of about 300 children. Hundreds of children and families were able to experience the joys of the holiday season due to the generous contributions from volunteers and sponsors. This event brought together many people who shared a common goal: to bring smiles and provide essential resources to those in need. It is inspiring that one event can have such a tremendous impact on so many lives.
