About the Event

Technology is transforming education worldwide, but how can we ensure that digital tools enhance rather than diminish human learning experiences? The National Consultative Working Group (CWG) Roundtable on EdTech in Nigeria brings together key stakeholders, policymakers, educators, and tech innovators to discuss the state of EdTech in Nigeria and develop strategies to bridge the digital divide.

With a growing reliance on AI and digital learning tools, this roundtable will explore how to integrate technology into education while preserving human agency, ensuring that EdTech empowers learners rather than limiting their autonomy.

This event is organized as part of the “Bridging the Digital Divide for Inclusive Education” Roundtable Meeting, with the support of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Global Campaign for Education (GCE). It is hosted in partnership with Tech4Dev, TechSocietal, and other key stakeholders in the education and technology sectors.
